The service this site provides
HVAC Reading ("we," "us," "our") operates https://hvacreading.com as a connection service: we help homeowners in the Reading area find and reach local, independent cooling and heating professionals. HVAC Reading is a referral service that assists homeowners in connecting with local service providers. All providers are independent and HVAC Reading does not warrant or guarantee any work performed.
Independent contractors
Any professional who responds to your inquiry is an independent contractor, not an employee or agent of HVAC Reading. It is the responsibility of the homeowner to verify that the hired contractor furnishes the necessary license and insurance required for the work being performed. Any agreement, estimate, or contract for work is strictly between you and the contractor.
Information on this site
The content on this site — articles, guides, and service descriptions — is general information for homeowners, not professional advice for your specific situation. Equipment condition, sizing, and refrigerant requirements vary house to house; an on-site assessment is the only reliable basis for a repair plan. Never attempt refrigerant or electrical repairs yourself — both are regulated and dangerous.
Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate contact and property information when requesting service.
- Verify contractor licensing and insurance before work begins.
- Review and approve any written quote or scope directly with the contractor.
Availability
Same-day and 24/7 emergency services are subject to provider participation, location, technician availability, and demand. Availability is not guaranteed and may vary by market and appointment capacity.
Warranties
Parts and labor warranties vary by provider, manufacturer, and product line. Any applicable warranty terms are furnished in writing by the provider performing the work.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, HVAC Reading is not liable for any damages arising from work performed by independent contractors or from your use of this site.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time; the current version will always be posted on this page.
